New Beginner Classes Launching
Enrol NOW for Beginners classes to be launched shortly. DanceSport Academy has three new Beginner classes in Strictly Ballroom.
Adult Classes are on Thursdays at 7.00pm, Children from 5 years at 5.00pm and Youth 16-19 years 6.00pm both on Tuesdays. For the launch dates and venues call 07785 992246 or contact us.

IDTA Dance Examinations
There was a 100% success pass rate for DanceSport Academy students in recent examinations. Former World and European Latin American Champion Lynn Armsby visited the Academy to examine DanceSport candidates in IDTA examinations.
A range of examinations from Social Dance Award to Silver were taken with everyone passing. The majority of the graded examination candidates received marks in excess of 90%.
Warren & Kristi Boyce Training
Warren and Kristi Boyce are the Current British National Profesional Ballroom Champions. They have just agreed to work with the DanceSport Academy as Excellence Coaches and the first session is booked for 23rd August at their dance studios in Bouremouth.
Karen Hardy Gala Night
A group of 12 adults took the trip for an evening at the Karen Hardy Studios in Chelsea. The evening was full of dancing and shows and of course lots of appearances by the famous Karen Hardy. On the evening Reg Challinor, DanceSport Academy Director and Club Principal was the only person to dance with Karen and Cheryl Sutton, Academy Competitor and Amateur Coach danced with Karen's Husband Conrad.
At the end of the evening Reg arranged for everyone to meet Karen. It was a late night but one enjoyed by everyone. Look out for the next event, the All England Amateur and Professional Latin Championships featuring dancers from all over the World. Ticket bookings being taken now.
